GAMENET Conference Kraków

September 17-21, 2018


The GAMENET Conference Kraków 2018 will take place on September 17 – 21, 2018, at the Cracow University of Economics, Kraków, Poland.

The aim of the conference which concludes the first year of COST Action European Network for Game Theory GAMENET  is to bring together researchers interested in game theory, with focus on the following areas:

  • Algorithmic Theory for Games on Networks,
  • Learning in Large-Scale Distributed Networks,
  • Graph Games,
  • Stochastic Methods in Game Theory.

On first two days, September 17-18, a training school on Recent applications of Game Theory  will be held, with lectures conducted by world-class experts in the field of game theory.

Preceding the annual management committee meeting of GAMENET, the working groups will present their achievements in a 2 days GAMENET Action Conference, September 19-20. The members of the Scientific Committee in the areas of respective working groups are:

On September 21, the annual meeting of MC of GAMENET will be held.

17-18 september: Training school

One of the main objectives of GAMENET is to initiate novel transdisciplinary research links with academia and industrial stakeholders and to prepare competitive EU researchers for a fruitful career in an international environment through intensive use of Short Term Scientific Missions (STSM), and joint educational programs with industrial partners. To meet these objectives the Core group of GAMENET is organizing its first Training school on various cutting edge applications of game theory.
